An exciting culinary experience brought to you by Sisterly Love Collective. Our mission is clear: to empower and celebrate the talented female chefs and authors that make Philadelphia’s culinary scene thrive. Inspired by the beloved “The Book and The Cook” food festival from 1984 to 2007, Cookbooks & Convos carries forward this tradition with a fresh twist.
The 2024 series will running from October 14 to October 27, featuring special dinners, author meet-and-greets, and engaging culinary events.
Sisterly Love Collective recognized the enduring charm of “The Book and The Cook” and sought to rekindle the festival in a contemporary format.
Cookbooks & Convos is a celebration of culinary excellence and an invitation to connect, learn, and be inspired by the rich tapestry of women’s contributions to the culinary world.
